Help Centre - Property Owners
As a property owner you are able to:
- View all work orders against your property.
- Receive real time notifications as work is planned, scheduled and started.
- Communicate with your maintenance company by adding notes and pictures.
- Create your own work order requests and share with your maintenance company.
- View your property details and manage and add additional people to have access to the property details through the app.
1. Work Orders
- You can view current work order by selecting one of the counters on the home page dashboard or by select the Work Orders menu option.
- The work orders list shows all current work orders for your property, to view your complete history of work orders, you can select the Work Orders History menu option.
- When viewing work orders, you can select the work order to view the full details of the work order, including any notes that have been added as well checklist items for the work order.
- From the summary view, you can search and resort the list of work orders using the icons and the bottom of the screen.
- Actions on work orders are available on the mobiles app as the ‘…’ icon on the summary view or through swipe options and a long press option
- Actions on work orders are available on the desktop app as a right click option, or the ‘…’ icon on the row

Creating a new Work Order
- Using the + symbol at the top of the report you can create a work order request.
- Select a work order type that describes the request and provide a description
- Optionally you can attach an image and create a checklist to go with the work order
- Finally specify a requested by date.
- Once submitted your work order request becomes visible to your maintenance company for planning and scheduling.
Edit an existing work order
- An edit options is available if you need to make changes to a work order that you have created, as long as the work order is not in progress.
- Once work is underway or for work orders that the maintenance company created, notes can be added to communicate changes or updates with the Maintenance Company.
Notes
- Notes, images and attachments can be added to work orders at any time.
- Notes can be added from the current Work Order list or the Work Order History list.
- Each note is timestamped and can be viewed from the work order details.
- Cancel comments, and quote comments are visible as notes.
- From a mobile device, it is possible to take a picture and add directly to the notes as well as attaching a picture saved on a mobile.
Request Cancel
- If a work order is no longer required, you can request for it to be cancelled as long as the status is Requested, Planned or Scheduled.
- Cancel comments must be added when cancelling a work order.
- A maintenance company user will review and update the work order as cancelled
2. Reminders
- Reminders are a useful feature to prompt you for actions in the future. For example if your HVAC equipment requires an annual service, you can create it as a reminder.
- Reminders will generate a notification on the reminder date.
- Current reminders can be viewed and edited from the Reminders options, new reminders can be created with the ‘+’ option.
- You can mark the reminder as completed or snooze a reminder to push back the reminder date.
3. Properties and Property Owners
- You can view your property information and also view property owners with access to your property.
- You can add new property owners and send them an invite to access the property details through the app, it is also possible to remove access to owners.
4. User Preferences
- This option allows you to choose what notifications you receive and whether you will receive them through the app as an in-app notification or to receive them via email.
